We designed the San Lorenzo house for a young married couple building their first home. After thoughtful conversations with the owners, we provided them welcoming, fresh, comfortable spaces within 10,000 square feet of modern architecture. We worked with the budget in a way that allowed us the freedom to choose between lower cost items and high end and custom furnishings. Deciding which pieces were more important for the overall design was key for this home. Custom pieces included LO.CA designed rugs, sofa and pendant lighting.
After being approached by fellow mom Brandi, we made a fun and playful little space for the Cradle Company. We turned adjoining offices into a retail space carrying baby gear, and a classroom space for baby classes. Working with basically no budget had us thinking out of the box. The painted circles on the ceiling not only add inexpensive color and pattern for the decor, but was designed with infant babies in mind for lying on their backs during classes. The space became a great place for neighborhood new mothers to gather, learn and share.
The Franklin House sits on a small hill overlooking Hollywood and west to the ocean. On this project we did all the architectural and interior drawings and obtained all required permits through the city. This was an extensive remodel on a one story, one bedroom house, turning it into two stories and 4 bedrooms for a growing family. The second story was dug from the hillside in order to save precious flat yard space. The interiors are a mix of contemporary and vintage, giving a modern yet warm sensibility to the home.
Richland is a staging project in Los Feliz. We helped the architect fill the space with furniture and accessories for this photo shoot and styled all shots.
Orlando is a new construction home in West Hollywood. We helped the architect choose tiles and plumbing fixtures. We also staged the house with plants, art, furniture and bedding. LO.CA styled every photo as well.
